Hi Readers!
Welcome to Me to You. As the title may suggest, this will be a blog of mine which will include thoughts, opinions, expressions, experiences, and beyond... directly from Me to You, my readers. I've recently felt a strong urge to pursue my passion for writing by creating a blog. Ever since I've learned how to fluently speak and write in English, which was when I was about ten to eleven years old, I felt drawn to express myself through words. My family has stacks of journals and diaries from years ago for safekeeping. I'd write stories, poems, letters, and even songs from that age, and have continued to do so as I've gotten older. I am now eighteen years old and can truly say I am at the peak of my interest and passion for sharing my thoughts and views with the world through writing.
I would say I found the true power and meaning behind words ever since I became a believer in Jesus Christ at the age of sixteen, which is when I also started reading the infamous, irreplaceable, incomparable, and most powerfully moving work of art called the Bible. I loved reading well before becoming a Christian, as did I know the way words can make one feel, but my knowledge of the power of words greatly advanced to an entire new level when I came across a verse found in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." Throughout the entirety of the Bible, I discovered some of the strongest of feelings and the most immense emotions which were so clearly, deeply, and intricately expressed, that I myself was moved and lead to believe the undoubtable truth that only an Author outside our realm, outside of our understanding, and beyond anything we could ever imagine could create something as influential as this.
With that said, my most genuine and hopeful wish for this blog is for it to be a place where people can find life; the type of life that can influence decisions and choices that lead only to good. Along with my opinions and general point-of view topics, I will be sharing my past, present, and maybe even future experiences as part of my plan to influence people's lives. For example, having been in the sports industry of tennis, I've went through much more than I, or my family, ever thought I would. From achieving great success to overcoming difficult storms of trials, my experiences in "the athlete's lifestyle" have shaped me into a person that I would not be otherwise, had I chosen a different career. Through the obstacles I came across because of tennis, I grew into a person that developed characteristics of fight, will, determination, and fast maturity... The lessons I learned through the years of ups and downs have given me a confidence in sharing my knowledge. I can potentially advise the next generation of young and up-coming athletes on how to handle what is bound to confront them as part of the challenge of aspiring to become a professional athlete. That is one of many ways that I am hoping to influence the world.
In short summary, this post was meant to give you taste of my purpose for creating this blog. I want to advance my skills in writing so that I may better achieve my goal of influencing the society by one word, one memory, one story, and one thought at a time.
